TYNEDALE crashed to their heaviest home defeat in years as Hull Ionians stormed to an impressive seven-try win.
The home side are in the process of rebuilding after several key players moved on and new coach Ben Woods seems to have much to do in tightening up on penalties, improving defence and working on the lineout.
Tynedale were 17-0 down in even time, as tries by full-back Steve Slingsby and James Tincknell were converted by scrum-half Isaac Green, who also added a penalty.
