CHESTER got their season off to the best possible start with victory over Preston Grasshoppers at Hare Lane.
The Hoppers were relegated two years ago before bouncing back at the first attempt but were soon under pressure from the home side.
Although they can be satisfied with at least getting a bonus point they are not going to find it any easier in this league than last time round.
