MARK Deaville’s last-gasp try helped Hinckley see off a spirited comeback from Blaydon.
For 40 minutes Hinckley had it all their own way, marching the home side backwards at every scrum, dominating in the loose and securing a try bonus after 21 minutes to lead 5-33 at the break.
Blaydon then ran in four second-half tries to lead 36- 33 with seven minutes remaining but Deaville’s try in the 85th minute saved Hinckley’s blushes.
