STUBBORN Stourbridge kept their slim hopes of promotion alive but were given a real battle by South Leicester, who led 26-20 going into the final quarter.
Sustained late pressure finally swung the game in Stour’s direction and relived director of rugby Neil Mitchell was relieved to have come away with the win.
He said: “We made hard work of it and lacked consistency in the set-pieces.
