STOUR’S promotion plans went up in smoke as Sheffield Tigers secured a prized double.
The lead continually changed hands, but Tigers sealed victory when flyhalf Tom Farrell held his nerve with a last-gasp penalty.
Stour took the lead against the run of play when winger Phil Bowden capitalised on a knock on to race over in the corner and Rob Forbes converted.
