MACCLESFIELD proved too strong for visitng Sheffield as they ran out comfortable winners in Cheshire.
The visitors started the better, putting their strong mauling game into action leading to a try for Dan Rylance inside two minutes.
Macc had to absorb a lot of early pressure and indiscipline gave chances away but the Blues grew into the game and got over the line in Dan Lomax after 17 minutes.
