DESPITE the testing conditions, Chester ran riot at Hare Lane as they piled on the misery to bottom side Blaydon.
They opened their account when Tom Foden touched over following a show and go. The conversion was added by Joshua Morris.
Blaydon responded following a kick through from Joel Matavasi, who dived on the resulting ball to score the try,
Matavasi then scored the resulting conversion to level the game.
Two minutes before the half-time break, Ross White scored a try for Chester and Morris added the conversion to give his side a 14-7 lead going...
