A PULSATING North East derby ended in victory for Tynedale, who trailed Blaydon for most of an impassioned encounter in front of a bumper crowd.
Tynedale have only lost twice all season, but they were 17-0 down and had two players in the sin-bin. Things looked even more bleak when skipper Matty Outson was forced off with a leg injury, but
Dale ultimately rallied to claim a late victory. Blaydon dominated early on, with tries from Dan Marshall and Jack Appleton both converted by fly-half Ryan Foreman, who also landed a penalty.
