EVEN at this stage in the season this game had the appearance of a mustwin match and it was Sheffield who demonstrated the greater desire to grab an away victory.
Sheffield coach Adam Byron felt that his team’s win last week had convinced them that they could beat Otley and he praised his forwards for taking charge of the game.
Otley started well, running the ball confidently but a penalty, the first of many, had them back to their 22.
A second penalty was stroked over by Sheffield scrum-half Steve Depledge.
