HUDDERSFIELD produced arguably their best away performance of the season to down Sheffield in an intriguing Yorkshire derby to join them safely in mid-table.
The two sides exchanged penalties before Lewis Bradley scored the first try of the match for Huddersfield.
That gave Huddersfield a half-time advantage but Sheffield came roaring out of the blocks and took the lead immediately.
Full-back Fergus Wood dotted down but scrumhalf Stephen Depledge missed the conversion.
