THREE tries in the first ten minutes proved to be enough for Leicester Lions as they recorded a bonus-point victory over a shell-shocked Wharfedale.
Having won the toss Lions played with the wind in their favour for the first-half and after establishing a lead, made it difficult for Dale to get back into the game.
Wharfedale won a Lions lineout in their own 22 but then quickly lost the ball and Patrick Ryan ran in for a try after two minutes which Jonathan Boden converted.
