MACCLESFIELD produced a solid and battling display in tricky conditions as they fought their way past South Leicester in Cheshire.
Macclesfield came into this match after five defeats on the bounce and South Leicester were fresh off the back of a win over Tynedale last time out.
And the strong winds and heavy rain ensured the match was not one for the neutrals.
It was the Blues who came out of the blocks quickest with Lewis Barker kicking an early three points five minutes in, and on 21 minutes the returning Ryan Parkinson went over in trade...
