CHESTER made it three back-to-back home victories as they overcame struggling Wharfedale at Hare Lane.
The margin of victory could have been greater with the hosts having two tries marginally ruled out for forward passes.
Wharfedale were fortunate to come away with a losing bonus point as they could only manage a penalty from full-back Robert Davidson.
The hosts were ahead after eight minutes with a penalty from fly-half Liam McGovern.
Davidson then levelled the scores with his strike after 26 minutes.
