A TRY in the last minute of normal time by winger Dan Marshall secured a deserved first win of the season for Blaydon.
They held an interval lead of 18-7 with a brace of tries from prop Jack Beckwith and two penalties and a conversion by Joe Whyman, to a Christian Pollock effort for the visitors following a long spell in the Blaydon 22.
Just two minutes into the second period and Otley were back in contention when centre Nick Coupland broke through a tackle to send in Henry Roberts, with Joe Rowntree adding the extras.
