A SERIOUSLY depleted Lions side who could muster only three replacements just edged a thriller at Corbridge.
The Midlanders started strongly, with a lineout catch-and-drive earning the first try through centre Drew Rudkin, before full-back Benjamin Marfo doubled the advantage after a kick was charged down.
Tynedale came back with a fine Oli Walker try, before two rapid Ash Walker penalties put them in front.
