THE final whistle was a relief to Caldy who clung on to win an entertaining game of rugby.
Wharfedale outscored the league leaders by three tries to two and could have gone on to win, but Caldy hung on.
The visitors led at halftime by ten points but it was Dale who had the better of the second half to nearly upset the form book.
