AN ASSURED performance from league leaders Caldy consolidated their place at the top of the tree, leaving them odds on favourites for promotion.
The visitors’ first try came from them pushing Harrogate off their own scrum and forward Josh Dickson drove over.
A period of Harrogate attacking play followed and, when Caldy were caught offside, David Doherty scored their first points.
Minutes later, a Caldy midfield turnover was recycled to Dickson who scored his second.
