It was a scrappy game that had six yellow cards and a series of penalties that disrupted the flow but South eventually proved too slick and ran in three late tries…
The home side started quickly, Will Ward running clear of a maul allowing Gaz Turner to find Nick Cairns who crossed, Rickie Aley converting. Jacob Heath soon added a second after Chris Gibbs and Calum Gunn opened up the visitors’ defence.
