CALDY continued their impressive charge towards the title but were given a real run for their money by a spirited Stourbridge side who are currently on a six-match losing streak.
Stour feared the worst when Caldy cantered over for their opening try in the second minute.
Inside centre Jack Lavin kicked for the corner and No.8 Josh Dickinson then stole Stour’s line-out ball to cross unopposed for Lavin to convert.
Caldy increased the lead when outside centre Forbes Edwards chased a delightful kick ahead to cross.
