Classy Caldy are 23 wins on spin

LEADERS Caldy saw off the challenge of a spirited and game Tigers side to extend their unbeaten run to a club record 23 games.
Despite a first-half 60- metre intercept try by the excellent Peter Swatkins, the Dore Moor club were never really in the match as the Caldy pack took charge from the start.
In miserable conditions, the home trio of John Broxson, Rhys Hayes and Jack Lavin pulled the strings, providing a couple of first-half scores for the quicksilver Nick Royle and a further try for winger Ben Jones.
