CELEBRATIONS to mark Ben Cooper’s 150th cap for Bury fell flat as Barnes proved too strong for the hosts.
The visitors had most of the play in the early stages and it was no surprise when they took the lead through Okemuo, converted by Hayden, before tries from Humphries and Gadbsy gave Barnes a 21-point lead.
Bury hit back with an unconverted try by Williams, but a disintegrating scrum allowed Davies to scamper over for Barnes; Hayden converted.
