But Dorking served up a five-pointer in response as prop Thomas Bristow bundled over for an unconverted try.
But Guernsey didn’t need long to retake the lead, scoring two tries in 12 minutes as first Martinas Dromantas and then winger Anthony Armstrong each crossed. McGann added a conversion.
