BURY St Edmunds and Dorking served up a classic high-scoring thriller that the visitors claimed with the last kick of the match.
Bury were quickest out of the blocks, with Will Metcalfe and Euan Rees scoring to build a 14-0 lead. Penfold converted both scores.
Dorking hit back with a try by Thomas Hardwick, which he converted, before Thomas Bloomer also crossed.
But controlled play by Bury saw Rees claim his second after great work by man of the match George Loose.
