BARNES won a fiercely contested game 20-17 against a Sevenoaks side that never gave up.
The visitors took an early lead after Barnes’ ill discipline saw Paul Webb yellow-carded.
Scott Sedgwick took advantage to open the scoring, but the conversion was missed.
After that Barnes dominated possession, but they struggled to breach the Oaks’ defence. Eventually Barnes debutant Charlie Rawlins cut through and scored on 25 minutes to level it up at 5-5.
