A BUMPER crowd bolstered by the Christmas lunch saw a typical south-coast derby full of passion and enthusiasm but lacking structure to make for a decent spectacle.
Havant opened the scoring on 16 minutes when Ben Griffin found space out wide; the conversion was missed.
Havant extended their lead when Jack Phillips converted a penalty after an infringement at a ruck.
However, the away side exerted pressure inside the Havant half, and came away with a try from Sam Myles. The conversion missed.
