HAVANT backed up last week’s performance with a hard-fought but controlled win in the Worthing sunshine.
Worthing started the better side butHavant then started to work their way into the game and a searing break by ex-Worthing player Jerome Rudder saw Havant take the lead.
Havant, now in control, scored a well-worked try through Ben Griffin but failed to shake off Worthing who scored two penalties through Louis Ellis.
