Skipper Davies’ treble in Barnes try spree

A FOUR-try blast in the space of ten minutes was at the heart of Barnes’ high-scoring win over Bury St Edmunds.
Barnes were fast out of the blocks and scored inside the first five minutes, a lineout catch and drive from Len Ashcroft-Leigh setting up the driving maul from which James Gallagher dotted down.
Bury then woke up and scored under the posts through Harry Simpson from the restart, Ben Penfold slotted the extras. Penfold further extended their lead with a penalty.
