CANTERBURY scored a dramatic late try against Worthing to ensure that Tom Best’s historic 300th apeparance for the club ended in victory.
The Raiders seemed desperate to spoil
Best’s day, bagging a try in the first ten minutes as Jack Lake crashed over from a driving maul.
The Raiders pack created a second score, Harrison Sims crashing in underneath the posts for Thomas Derrick to convert.
Canterbury hit back with the first of two scores for Alex Evans, off a dominant maul.
