GUERNSEY Raiders suffered a home battering as Bury St Edmunds proved to be far too strong in attack and defence.
Bury struck first with two tries within eight minutes. George Grigg-Pettitt waltzed through a poor Raiders defence, followed by back Samr Kharbouch driving his way over. Ben Penfold converted both. Owen Thomas kicked three points for the Raiders after a brief excursion into the Bury half.
