Heald: New tackle height law causing concussions

Barnes director of rugby Jack Heald wants the RFU’s law change on tackle height to be scrapped.
New laws introduced this season to community rugby mandate that tackle heights be lowered to below the base of the sternum in an attempt to reduce head injuries and concussions.
However, Heald explains that these changes have inadvertently led to a vast increase in concussions in his squad.
