Esher cling on for win over Raiders

ESHER returned to the mainland with the points in the bag after they overcame Guernsey in a see-saw encounter at Footes Lane.
It didn’t seem as if they would have much trouble as they scored in the ninth minute through flanker Fin Mc-Brearty, a try converted by Sam Morley.
The lead was doubled after 33 minutes when scrum-half Pierre Thompson went over close enough to the posts for Morley turn five points into seven.
