North Walsham head coach Ryan Oakes believes fly-half and captain Matt Hodgson may be one of the best players in the division after helping his side survive in National Two East.
The Norfolk side, in their first ever season in the National Leagues, have found it tough at times but with recent victories in ‘six-pointer’ fixtures against fellow strugglers Sevenoaks and then Rochford Hundred yesterday, Oakes describes it as the most enjoyable season in the club’s history.
