A powerful display by the pack earned Luctonians a hardfought victory at Newport (Salop).
The first half was nip and tuck for the entire 40 minutes, but the away side pulled away after the break.
Luctonians were first on the board through Aiden Cheshire after a well-executed catchand-drive, a move that was to haunt the home team all afternoon.
Newport responded immediately with a try by Charlie Gamble, who chipped ahead and finished with aplomb after good work from Joe Raqio and Dan Brough.
