An intriguing Kent derby went the way of hosts Canterbury, Sevenoaks rallying late on at the Marine Travel Ground – but ultimately falling short.
Henry Galligan got the visitors off to the perfect start, strolling over in the opening minute and they soon had a second, Jonny Short’s break seeing him race over.
Canterbury eventually got themselves up and running and Lewis Hollidge showed he was equal to anything Short could do, crashing over for their first and, five minutes later, Cameron Murray was driven over.
