A scintillating game at the Slade went down to the wire after Tonbridge Juddians fly-half Tom White kicked what many thought was the winning penalty.
But with seconds left to restart Canterbury regathered and crossed some seven minutes later to claim victory in this all-Kent clash.
TJs started the better of the two sides and centre Duncan Tout crashed over after just four minutes but Canterbury responded shortly afterwards moving the ball to the right for Cameron Murray to cross in the corner.
