Dorking chairman Shaun Hammond believes the club have learnt valuable lessons from the last time they were in the National Leagues and have now created an overall alignment in their ambitions.
The newly promoted side have proved a surprise package, coming into this weekend fourth in National Two East after eight wins from their opening 12 games.
Hammond said: “We started the season by wanting to be in the top third of the division and that hasn’t changed. We want to consolidate and become a competitive outfit in the league and so far we’ve overachieved.
