Six first-half tries – a double from Austin Emens and one each for Johnny Ellis, Fraser Mosley, Joel Grant and Henry Birch – sealed the match in Dorking's favour as they ran out comfortable winners at the Big Field.

With Henry Anscombe on target with five out of six conversions, a subdued North Walsham had no answer to Dorking's forward power in both the loose and the set-piece, setting up perfect conditions for the Dorking backs to run the ball at will.

A the half-time whistle the red and whites had a 40-0 lead after 40 minutes of complete domination.

A dogged North Walsham defence stemmed the flow in the third quarter of the match as Dorking employed all five of their replacements, but they Star m Ben Cha

were unable to meaningfully break out of their half as Dorking's defence held firm as well.

As the half wore on, Dorking's forward power began to tell once more and a further three tries came in the quarter of the match.

There was one for Toby McRae and two for Mikey Macdonald, two of which Anscombe converted, sealing an impressive all-round performance.
