Canterbury………….. 20
Old Albanians……..32
It was a tough day at the office for Canterbury with Old Albanians making the game in 60 minutes before a final quarter burst by Canterbury.
The opening score came via the boot of visiting fly-half Alex Noot, following two tap free-kicks in a row and a penalty for dissent.
It didn't get any better for the Foxes from the restart. A couple of missed tackles saw a line break by Wilson Ileh extend the lead.
Frank Reynolds kicked a pair of penalties to put the home side on the scoreboard, and just before half-time Guy Hilton crashed through on an inside ball to score with Reynolds' kick taking the score to 13-8.
After half-time, Old Albanians took control. Helped by a surprisingly rejuvenated scrum, which even saw Canterbury go down to 14.
Jarryd Sage broke through to score and another try soon followed with Toby Evans dotting down after a hack through. The conversion from Noot took the away side into a seven-point lead.
Evans and Noot added further tries to secure the bonus point before Canterbury came alive with some fresh impetus off the bench and Billy Young drove over for their final try.
