DANIEL Rowland was Esher’s hero as they left Rugby Park at the top of the table as his try at the death broke Worthing’s hearts.
It was a battle from kick-off, but it started so well for the Raiders as Curtis Barnes opened the scoring in the fifth minute.
Even though they went down to 14 men, the home side doubled their lead 10 minutes later through Will Scholes finishing off a great forward move.
After continually testing the hosts’ defence, the visitors scored two tries in five minutes.
