CANTERBURY returned to winning ways against Barnes.
The start for Canterbury was exciting but error-strewn and didn’t deliver any points. Instead it was Barnes who delivered the first scores.
The visitors’ first try came from persistent pressure on both sides of the ball. Canterbury made a turnover but an overly ambitious exit saw them scrape a kick to just outside the 22. From here Barnes went about their business and Weightman crashed over.
