ESHER held off a fierce attack by Leicester Lions to make it ten wins in a row at Molesey Road.
The hosts scored the afternoon’s first points, thanks to a penalty kick from Sam Morley, but it was a poor first-half performance from Esher and Leicester dominated the majority of the 40 minutes.
Tries by James Stubbs and Will Ward, both converted by Ben Young, were only interrupted by a second Morley penalty for Esher.
