CLIFTON extended their winning run to nine games following a strong second-half performance against Henley Hawks.
The Hawks proved dogged opponents and had their moments in a game punctuated by mistakes and penalties.
The visitors had the better of the early exchanges and dominated some of the tight play. They struck first when hooker Tom Emery went over from a strong forwards surge, with fly-half Monty Bradbury converting. A high tackle gave Bradbury an opportunity to kick a penalty and open up a ten-point lead.
