LEADERS Exeter University overcame third-placed visitors Exmouth 27-7 in one of their sternest tests of the campaign so far.
In topping the table, Exeter University have won every game with a bonus point.
They managed to get the extra point this time, too, but only just as they ran in four tries, with Scott Butterworth and Tom Eelman among the scorers.
The away defeat saw Exmouth drop a place to fourth in the standings.
Second-placed side Hornets had a much more routine win as they smashed struggling Drybrook 50-10 on their travels.
