BARNSTAPLE turned their fortunes around with a superb victory over in-form Rochford Hundred, ending a run of five successive defeats.
The game began with Barnstaple pressing the visitors, but a dropped ball in contact gave Sam Cappaert, who scored all Rochford’s points, the opportunity to open the scoring. He ran in a try from his own half in the seventh minute and converted his own score.
