CANTERBURY slipped to their second defeat in a row, shipping three tries against a Dings side that chalked up a second successive win.
The weather played its part in a physical and, at times, attritional encounter, but it was the visitors that made the most of the elements in their favour. Canterbury created chances, but were repelled by the visitors’ defence, with veteran lock Danny Hodge at its heart.
