GUERNSEY Raiders took advantage of Barnstaple errors as they eased to victory at Pottington Road.
The visitors struck first after absorbing the early pressure with a well-struck penalty by Owen Thomas. In the 34th minute, Guernsey extended the lead with a second Thomas penalty.
The Chiefs immediately hit back with a penalty by Jake Murphy and then, from the kickoff, rampaged into the Raiders half in the dying minutes of the half, only to be held up at the line.
