REDRUTH director of rugby Nigel Hambly was delighted with his side’s win over Tonbridge Juddians but believes his players could have done more to increase their margin of victory.
Roared on by a partisan home crowd at the Recreation Ground, scores from Connor Gilbert and a penalty try were enough to topple the high-flyers, who saw their lead at the top of the table seized by Taunton.
And despite his team’s victory – their tenth in a row –Hambly said his players were not at their best as they maintained the pressure on Henley in the top four places.
