Early blitz sees Dings downed

CLIFTON did enough to secure the double over Dings Crusaders as a dominant first-half display left the visitors too much to do.
A 24-point lead at halftime with the try bonus point secured was just reward for a scintillating effort as they dominated both territory and possession during the third quarter but lost some shape in the final stages when Dings took advantage and scored two converted tries. Clifton’s back row was prominent in the loose and the breakdown for much of the game.
