OAs succumb to gentlest of touch

A LATE surge in the second half saw Esher come from behind to beat Old Albanian in a tight affair at Molesey Road.
With Jamie Townsend sent to the sin-bin for lifting in a tackle, the home side made their advantage count with two tries in the space of two minutes, first Cam Gentles finishing off after James Booth had steamed through the line, before repeating the feat but finishing the move himself.
The visitors’ first try came as Tristan Roberts lost the ball in a tackle, allowing Tom Bendall to scoop up the ball and run 30 metres untouched to the try line.
