AFTER several disappointments Westcliff finally showed what they were capable of with a thoroughly deserved victory over an impressive Redruth unit in National 2 South.
Westcliff ’s defensive play was superb throughout and they matched their formidable opposition in the tight.
The hosts enjoyed huge possessional advantage in the first half and achieved due reward with tries from Greg Bannister, Joe Vandermolen and Billy Morrant, with Jack Jones adding one conversion to create a big lead.
